Meşe Balı Nedir?
Meşe balı nedir sorusuna işçi arıların meşe ağacının tohumu olan palamuttan sıvı salgılanmasıyla elde edilen bal türüdür olarak yanıt verilebilir. Arıların sıvıyı emerek enzimlerle birlikte bala dönüştürmesiyle meşe balı elde edilir. Bahar aylarında çiçek açan meşe ağaçları, bu dönemde bal üretimi için uygundur. Yaz aylarının sonunda ise bal hasadı yapılır. Faydalı özellikleriyle öne çıkan meşe balı aromatik lezzetini de tüketicilere sunuyor.
Meşe Balı Faydaları
Nadir bulunan bir bal türü olan meşe balının sayısız faydalarını saymak mümkündür. Diğer bal türlerine göre daha az polen içermesine rağmen içeriği bakımından zengindir. Bu da meşe balının faydalı olmasını sağlayan önemli bir özelliğidir. Meşe balı faydaları aşağıda verilmiştir:
- Antienflamatuar ve antimikrobiyal özellikleri sayesinde bağışıklık ve bağırsak sistemine iyi geldiği bilinir.
- Antioksidan özelliği sayesinde vücudun virüs ve bakteriden korunmasını kolaylaştırır. Özellikle de influenza ve viral virüslerine karşı etkili olduğu düşünülür.
- Enerji veren bir besin olduğu için halsizliği ortadan kaldırmaya yardımcı olur diyebiliriz. Dolayısıyla sporcu ve yoğun iş temposunda olan kişiler için yararlı olduğunu söylemek mümkün.
- Uykusuzluk sorununa da iyi geldiği bilindiği için ılık suyla karıştırılarak içildiğinde rahat bir uyku sağlar denilebilir.
- İdrar yolu sistemlerini de düzenleyerek erkeklerde prostat enfeksiyonlarına karşı etkili olduğu bilinir.
